Llewelyn: ruler of Gwynedd and first Prince of Wales

Joan: Llewelyn’s young wife, and illegitimate daughter of King John of England

KIing John of England— The Tyrant Father

Late 40s–50s. Ruthless, manipulative, and tormented by paranoia. A man who wields power like a weapon — and uses his daughter as a pawn. His cruelty toward Wales is matched only by his obsession with control. Yet, his humanity flickers through his relationships, making him a terrifyingly real antagonist.

Ednyfed, Knight/Crusader, Llewelyn’s marshal, lifetime friend, and founder of the Tudor dynasty. He went to the Crusades, and with other templars knights, brought back a new form of thinking, a mix of Christian and Islam religion.

Gwenllian, wife of Ednyfed, who believed him dead in the Holy Land

Al Kamil, famed Saracen leader and brother of Saladin.

Longbow- the most lethal weapon of the Middle Ages, that decimated armies, that was Welsh.

William de Braose— The Tempter

Mid-20s. Handsome, charming, and reckless — the embodiment of youth and temptation. His affair with Joan is both romantic and catastrophic, sparking a chain of events that tests the limits of love and forgiveness.
